To be blunt, the majority of cannabis consulting and law firms that are hired to write applications have the same Standard Operating Procedure:
1. Write one template for each section for a given state, that is modified from previous applications they've written.
2. For each client, change a few variables (business name, address, maybe a few vendors, etcetera), with the rest of the application remaining the same.
3. Charge between $3,000-$100,000 per application.
This service is essentially the same, but designed to be much cheaper and faster.
I aim to provide 75% (eventually 100%) of the value of a high-priced firm at a small fraction of the price and required time.
To set this concretely, if you want a free application, SISU will require 10% ownership of your license-holding entity.
If you are only planning on using this for a certain amount of time, I would recommend going to your calendar and setting reminders a few days before the subscription is set to renew (do this for everything you subscribe to!).
1. For the license application feature, it is recommended to have a qualified law firm review your application before submission.
2. For the property search feature, it is recommended to manually verify each property's compliance with all applicable laws.
